Telehealth psychology for anxiety, stress & burnout
Persistent worry, racing thoughts, or difficulty switching off. Feeling on edge, overthinking decisions, or anticipating problems even when things seem under control. Over time, stress that never fully settles can turn into exhaustion, irritability and a sense that your reserves are empty.
What this can look like
- Worry that’s hard to control, or that jumps from one thing to the next
- Physical tension, poor sleep, a racing heart or a constant feeling of being “on”
- Avoiding situations, conversations or decisions because of how they make you feel
- Feeling depleted, cynical or detached from people, loved ones, or work you once cared about
- Struggling to rest, even when you finally have the time
How we work
Therapy is practical and goal-directed. We start with what’s affecting you now and what you’d like to be different. Together we look at the patterns that keep anxiety and stress going, and build skills you can use between sessions. Approaches are drawn from evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness, tailored to you rather than applied as a script.
Burnout and work stress
Burnout isn’t a personal failing. It usually reflects a protracted imbalance between demands and energy, one whose impact courage alone struggles to contain. Alongside managing the symptoms, we look at the pressures driving it: workload, boundaries, role expectations and the habits that make recovery hard.
Why telehealth works well here
There’s no commute or waiting room, and sessions fit around a full schedule. For many people, being in their own space makes it easier to speak openly. Morning sessions are particularly encouraged, to help get ahead of symptoms that tend to build through the day.
Fees and Medicare
$240 per 50-minute session. Medicare rebates of approximately $101.55 per session are available with a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan, leaving an estimated gap of $138.45.

Telehealth suits most adults who are medically and psychiatrically stable. Some presentations need more intensive or in-person care. See conditions we don’t support. If you need urgent help, visit our crisis and emergency support page.
