Men’s mental health

Men’s mental health, by telehealth

A direct, confidential space to be heard, work through emotional strain and relationship changes, and deal with the pressure many men feel to handle everything alone. Even when surrounded by people.

Common reasons men reach out

  • Stress, pressure and feeling stretched thin at work or at home
  • Low mood, flatness, or losing drive
  • Anger, irritability or feeling on a short fuse
  • Relationship strain, separation or changes in family roles
  • Feeling isolated, that there’s no one to talk to honestly, or feeling frustrated
  • That sinking feeling when you try to reach out, but the intent of what you say is not the message heard

Any of these can leave you questioning why you’d even try. Quite simply, because you’re worth it.

What to expect

Sessions are straightforward and practical. There’s no pressure to “open up” faster than you’re comfortable with, and no assumption that you need to arrive with the right words. We focus on what’s getting in the way and what you’d like to change.

Why telehealth suits many men

You can talk from your car, your home or your office. There’s no waiting room and no one needs to know. Online booking means you don’t have to make a phone call to get started.

Fees and Medicare

$240 per 50-minute session. Medicare rebates of approximately $101.55 per session are available with a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan, leaving an estimated gap of $138.45.

Telehealth suits most adults who are medically and psychiatrically stable. Some presentations need more intensive or in-person care. See conditions we don’t support. If you need urgent help, visit our crisis and emergency support page.
