ADHD, focus & executive functioning

Telehealth psychology for adult ADHD

Concentration that swings between distraction and hyperfocus. Difficulty managing time, starting tasks or following through on plans. Responsibilities that feel chaotic or overwhelming, and the frustration of knowing what to do but not being able to make yourself do it.

Who this is for

  • Adults with an ADHD diagnosis who want practical support alongside, or instead of, medication
  • Adults who suspect ADHD, or recognise the traits and are exploring ways to reduce their impacts
  • Anyone whose focus, organisation or follow-through is affecting work, study or relationships

You don’t need a diagnosis to start. We focus on what’s getting in the way now.

What we work on

  • Routines and systems that hold up on low-energy days, not just good ones
  • Time management and task initiation: breaking through procrastination and “time blindness”
  • Overwhelm and emotional regulation: the frustration, shame and stress that often build up over years
  • Work and study pressures, including role demands, deadlines and burnout
  • Related concerns such as anxiety, low mood and sleep, which commonly occur alongside ADHD

Why telehealth suits ADHD

No travel, no waiting room, and sessions that fit around your day. Online booking and self-service rescheduling remove much of the admin friction that can make appointments hard to keep.

Assessment and medication

Salvere Psychology provides therapy and practical support. We don’t conduct ADHD assessments to support a formal diagnosis, or prescribe medication. Your GP can refer you to a psychiatrist or specialist assessment service for those.

Fees and Medicare

$240 per 50-minute session. Medicare rebates of approximately $101.55 per session are available with a GP referral and Mental Health Treatment Plan, leaving an estimated gap of $138.45.

Telehealth suits most adults who are medically and psychiatrically stable. Some presentations need more intensive or in-person care. See conditions we don’t support. If you need urgent help, visit our crisis and emergency support page.
